Two years after the previous installment — which broke me mentally to the point I even considered quitting AV — that hellish documentary focused on creepy men finally returns! The footage was actually shot in spring 2022, but due to various circumstances its release was delayed for over a year, making this a problematic piece (I always say that, I know). By the time of release the timely edge had been lost: the actress had once been billed as an “amazing newcomer” with nearly 100 releases three months after her debut, but that label no longer fit. Additional shoot troubles and the wave of the new AV law led to cancellations; this project is not just troubled, it’s almost a disaster property. The theme here is an actress’s rank. The film examines the hierarchy commonly called solo (tandai), kika-tan, and企画 projects, and the mental conduct of actresses within the fan-business. Triggered by a dispute rooted in the seniority between a former solo actress and a kika-tan performer, the shoot — interspersed with interviews from those involved — progresses through a park date with a creepy fat man complete with kissing, feeding by mouth, consecutive irrumatio scenes, genuine creampies, leading into the full-course of the Tamaya label and revealing the actress’s inner world. But the real conclusion of this work may only be known five years from now. For her, it will be clear whether this was artistic expression or selling herself to become famous. Once you hold the title “former AV worker,” there are countless undignified ways to make a living; nowadays everyone diligently masturbates on fan sites. If you keep selling erotic photos to your fans you can stay secure even after retiring. It mirrors the compensated encounters and panty-flash videos that proliferated when phones first got cameras — if all of that is called “AV,” the weight of the phrase “fallen into AV” grows. In an industry where simply undressing can bring notoriety, will she become a stimulant for fame-hungry consumers, get consumed by the desire for recognition, remain an artist, or survive as a “former AV worker” who monetizes decency, secrets, and lies? Will adult videos still hold value in five or ten years? We want to know that too.
