Returning home elated from a vacation, she discovers her husband's company is on the brink of collapse after a key client's bounced payment. After much thought, her husband proposes that, in exchange for arranging financing, she should sleep with the lecherous company president. She desperately refuses, but is set up by her husband; aided by alcohol, she ends up entering into a physical relationship. She somehow secures a promise of financing, but new monetary problems erupt. To make further requests she fights on, throwing her body into the struggle as the president's wife.
