One day, Atsushi was told by his mother that his aunt Mikan, who lives alone, had caught a cold and was bedridden. He went to look after her in place of his busy mother. When he arrived, Mikan looked worse than expected. As he struggled with the unfamiliar task of caring for her and the evening grew late, he decided to stay overnight. Checking on the sleeping Mikan, he found her sweating from fever and became increasingly concerned, doing his best to help and look after her.
