About five years ago, when my wife and I had just moved to a rural town in the Kanto area, we joined the neighborhood association despite being unfamiliar with the place and attended the meetings held at the community center several times a month. Occasionally, when I couldn't attend because of work, my wife would go alone. At those neighborhood association meetings they used a video camera's recording function as a sort of minutes, and one day when I — who was the secretary at the time — played it back, there she was: my wife, forced to drink, getting drunk, and in a humiliating state after being taken…！
