About this work

聖, who lives in Tokyo with her husband, has a tradition of spending every summer at her younger sister’s house in the countryside. Her brother‑in‑law 誠二 has long admired 聖, but kept his feelings buried deep inside. To pass the time they go out to gather wild mountain vegetables, and 聖, saying she was bored, joins him. A few hours later, while the two are happily foraging deep in the mountains, a sudden heavy rain hits and they take refuge in a nearby mountain hut. With no one coming to pick them up, it’s just 聖 and 誠二 alone until morning… In that situation 誠二 can no longer suppress his hidden feelings.
