About this work

At the end of a summer that still held its heat, I returned to my family home for my mother's 17th memorial. Every year, no matter how busy, I made an effort to come back because of my sister, Yūka. After losing our mother when we were children, my sister had always acted like a mother to me and taken care of me — the woman I admired.
