Tatsuo Kondo is attending university in Tokyo and living alone. For the house renovation, his cousin Yasuhiro Yabe and his aunt Toshie Yabe are staying at his mother Ikumi Kondo's house — in other words, they are lodging at Tatsuo's family home. Tatsuo is enjoying student life in the city and soon gets a girlfriend, Nao. However, living alone for the first time has made him secretly homesick.
