Aya has been married six years to a husband who was a classmate in school. While raising their two children and outwardly living a seemingly fulfilling life, she becomes tormented by an unshakable suspicion that “maybe he’s cheating…”. He comes home late every night, and even on his rare days off he dresses up and goes out alone. Exhausted from worry and childcare, Aya visits a bodywork (seitai) salon to soothe her tired body, and there she becomes attracted to the therapist. In that brief ‘extraordinary’ moment, desires that had been sleeping inside her begin to awaken…
