The evil army Black Shadow, plotting world conquest. Nameless soldiers who, in battles with the regular army, serve as shields for commanders—such as monsters—and meet miserable deaths. ZOE is, unusually for a combatant, female. Because she is a woman, she suffers hardships that ordinary combatants do not — namely, sexual harassment. A sad story of a female combatant placed in such an environment.
