My air conditioner broke, so I want you to check it. It's not a lie and not for any shady reason... it's the truth. I've recently been interested in a junior coworker, but since I'm much older it's hard for me to ask him out. But if I say I want him to fix the broken air conditioner, I can invite him to my place. Invite him over — and then what would I do? I'm not thinking anything indecent. Still, I should take a proper shower... because it's hot.
