Hitomi usually works from home as a graphic designer. She isn’t employed by a company; working independently, she takes outsourced jobs from various companies. Because she can adjust her own workload, it’s easy for her to take days off. She lives a life without a clear distinction between day and night, so if she feels like it she goes to clubs and sometimes takes someone home or is taken home. Since the start of this year there have been about six such occasions, so she doesn’t really know how many people she’s been with. Perhaps because her work is solitary, she wants to be with people whenever she’s not working, so as long as it isn’t troublesome she’s pretty okay with almost anyone. Hitomi is well liked by both men and women, and has even dated women. Most girls tend to expect masculinity from Hitomi, so those relationships don’t last because she can’t meet their expectations. In the end, she thought that if she were to date someone it would be better to date men. One day, after finishing up some work as usual she headed to a club. She stayed until morning, and when the first trains started running she ate ramen with a friend on the streets of Shibuya. After heading to the station alone to go home, a stranger approached her. He said it was for an AV shoot and asked if she’d try it just once. It sounded interesting, the pay was good, and she had nothing to do on her day off—so, out of curiosity, Hitomi decided to appear in it.
