Mei is a somewhat airheaded girl. She’s the age of a second-year university student, but she hasn’t attended university since the summer break last year. She’s surprisingly good at studying and, to meet her parents’ expectations, got into a fairly high-level university. However, without any real sense of purpose, Mei grew tired of taking classes she wasn’t interested in. “I don’t want to go to university anymore. But if I quit, what will I do?” No matter how much she thought about it, she couldn’t find an answer within her narrow view. She became a little depressed, but eventually Mei stopped overthinking. She decided she should rest for now: take a leave of absence to let her mind recover and try various things. If there’s nothing she wants to do, it’s okay to take it slow until she finds it. With that mindset, when she was scouted on the street for AV filming, thinking it would be an experience and that she might gain something from it, she readily accepted. Mei has a talent she doesn’t even recognize herself. Calling it a “talent” may sound exaggerated, but it’s something she can use as a weapon in her life going forward. Anyone who watches this footage will understand that talent — and will want to see Mei again.
