Erika likes frilly clothes. She usually wears Lolita fashion or similar styles and enjoys wandering around Akihabara and Harajuku. At the high school she graduated from in March, she had no friends who shared her interests and she often skipped classes. She often went out on weekdays as well, but Erika, who barely worked at part-time jobs, really just wandered the streets and enjoyed window shopping. One time in Akihabara she was approached by a suspicious man wearing sunglasses. "You're cute! There's a shoot happening right over there—want to model?" He said something as shady as he looked, but she was bored so she decided to hear him out. He said they'd photograph her in various outfits ranging from cosplay to swimsuits and would pay 3,000 yen per hour. There was no troublesome customer service, and if she only had to be photographed it seemed like a very good gig. So Erika started working as a model for photography sessions in Akihabara. For a high schooler she earned quite a lot, and she was able to buy more of her beloved Lolita clothes than before. She even made friends with other models. She never imagined she could live such free and fun days. After graduating high school, Erika became a freeter and earned money solely from these photography-session jobs. One day on a day off, she was approached again—this time in Harajuku. By then she no longer felt any resistance to being photographed.
