Naomi Hattori, 45, came from Ishikawa Prefecture. She married and moved from the city to live with her husband 22 years ago, gave birth to three sons, and had been living as a good wife and mother. However, after her children became independent, she found herself, in contrast to her previously busy days, feeling a lack of purpose. Fearing that a boring life in a rural town would make her age suddenly and mark the end of her life as a woman, she made a once-in-a-lifetime major decision and requested to appear to seek stimulation.
