Yoshie leads a very ordinary housewife life: she sees her husband off in the morning, cleans and does the laundry, and spends her afternoons killing time in front of the TV. Her everyday routine begins to warp at the hands of the man next door, Asano... One afternoon, after sending her husband off and finishing the housework, Asano shows up at Yoshie's with a certain magazine. Inside is a published account of a past scandal Yoshie has kept hidden from her husband. From that day on, during the husband’s absent afternoons, Asano uses that weakness to toy with her. Amid her guilt toward her husband, masochistic feelings gradually begin to take root.
