Michiru, a devoted wife, supports her busy husband Tooru, who started a company with a friend. Michiru’s routine included bringing him a change of clothes when he slept in a room of the apartment where the company was located. One day, Michiru is told for the first time the name of the friend who will be co-running the business with her husband. Her husband never talks about his work. The name she hears—"Hanaoka"—turns out to be the name of a man she dated when they were students. This fateful reunion gradually transforms the married woman back into a woman.
