A hot spring trip that was supposed to be with his wife... The protagonist ends up going alone with his mother-in-law, his wife's mother. He is troubled by the idea of spending time alone with his mother-in-law, who has a somewhat hard-to-approach, cool impression and whom he only sees once a year when he visits his wife's parents' home.
