About this work

Yokomiya Nanami is clumsy, bad at socializing, and has low self-esteem — but because she lays all of that bare, I love her. As the representative fan, I had the cameraman “Suzutake-san” follow closely to film a documentary, but Nanami’s huge lateness started things off and she kept running me around the whole time. However, when we sent all the staff home and were alone together, the story finally began to move… The editor and even the producer in charge didn’t notice everything the footage revealed on the day of shooting or afterward; to continue seeking the truth shown in the images, we discussed repeatedly after filming and arrived at this work. This is dedicated not only to Yokomiya-san’s associates and fans, but also to those who don’t yet know her.
