Mako, a married woman living with her husband in a small apartment in Tokyo. One day an ex-boyfriend named 火登 visits. He claims to be the manager of a small advertising agency now and recommends a trip to Europe, saying it can be arranged for almost nothing. That night Mako talks it over with her husband.
