Mio divorced her husband before their child became aware of things and threw herself into work to forget her sorrow. On a rare vacation she goes to a hot-spring inn and is attended by a young man who works there. At first she chatted with him, thinking he was a cheerful young man, but the pendant he wore turned out to be the same one Mio had given when they parted. Mio becomes convinced he is her son.
