Divorced Chisato helps out at her family's public bathhouse, which her father runs alone. One day she sees a timid man being mocked by others over his underwear. When she stops the commotion and asks why, she learns that the underwear was chosen for him by his deceased mother, and it apparently looks just like Chisato. That's why he endures the ridicule and keeps coming to the bathhouse. When he clings to her, Chisato's maternal instincts are stirred and she gently embraces him. Other men — including a fraudster about to turn himself in and debt collectors — also appear... she tenderly heals these men who carry wounds in their hearts!
